Our story is unique, yet quite warming as we are writing our story because at one point, we lived in a world away from each other, yet fate brought us together. Michelle lived most of her childhood in Rotterdam, and Thao grew up in Virginia. Our exposure to flowers started during our childhoods.  Michelle lived in the Netherlands, a country that is well-known for their beautiful flowers. Thao experienced the four seasons in Virginia, where every season has amazing flowers blooming. Family and careers brought both of us to The Woodlands. Michelle and Thao have always loved flowers, and they wanted to bring the beauty of flowers and combine nature to every arrangement. So after attending a formal flower school in Houston, we were inspired to have our own flower shop. After hours of laughing, writing down ideas, discussing with friends and collaborating; with so much excitement and the support of our families and friends (arrangements and bouquets are named after our sweet friends), Michelle and Thao are opening Lovely Petals Floristry in The Woodlands.
